Dr. Counter earned a medical degree from Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed an internship and surgical residency at Swedish Medical Center.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Counter’s practice includes all areas of general surgery with a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, hernias, anti-reflux procedures, colon/small bowel surgery and lung cancer surgery.
Practice Philosophy
'I provide comprehensive surgical care for both inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures. I place great importance on patient education to help reduce patient's anxiety about their surgery. I utilize surgical residents in the office as well as the hospital to maximize continuity of care.'
